CONSULTING
Adopt AI sensibly
AI is useful when it changes a decision, a process cost, or a customer outcome. The work is choosing where that happens — and where it does not.
Who this is for
- Software and data companies stuck on legacy delivery processes
- Product teams exploring agentic or GenAI-assisted ways of working
- Brokers, MGAs and insurers limited by platform or IT constraints who need a practical path forward
Typical work
- Migrating delivery from legacy SDLC patterns toward GenAI-enabled ways of working
- Using technology to extend existing services into clearer propositions and USPs
- Scoping bespoke internal tools where the current platform cannot deliver
- Helping product organisations adopt agentic approaches without losing governance or judgement
How I approach it
- Define the outcome first: what must improve, by how much, and for whom.
- Run a short discovery across options before recommending a path.
- Deliver a clear recommendation, then a light-touch implementation plan the team can run.
- Stay close enough to challenge assumptions — not so close that the organisation loses ownership.
Evidence
- Led a property data rebuild process from multi-week, high-friction updates to a multi-day, higher-quality market-leading build.
- Designed and shipped bespoke operational tools by starting from the real manual process, not the assumed one.
- Spent the last two years building with AI in the loop — review, documentation, analysis, and increasingly code and test — to keep recommendations grounded in practice.
